The people bear a grudge
The one they wont forget
And burn the future dear
Until their death they get

The people wont forgive
Forever bear a grudge
Don’t give a chance to live
In anger choose to trudge

Don’t they know they see
We discard future chance
Chose to burn in fury
Throw the chance to dance

If they only knew
To forgive set them free
Whats use to hang on hurt
Is fury all they see

With future give a chance
Forgive and live with love
Give happy thoughts a chance


How many have I seen
Who swore never forgive
And weep so loud and scream
When loved ones ceased to live

How loud their oath and swear
Burned by their own words
If only they forgave
Would not face the absurd

The chance to live their life
That chance to smile a while
Forgive dare set heart free
Let not evil beguile

Too many times I failed
In this same very hole
Buried myself deep
A clown most suiting role
